Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Individual Contractor Physiotherapist will perform a variety of duties under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Key responsibilities include registering patients in the electronic medical records system, scheduling physiotherapy sessions, and sending appointment reminders. The physiotherapist will also be responsible for requesting letters of guarantee from insurance companies, ensuring timely payment for services, and monitoring patients' vital signs and treatment progress. Additional duties include assisting physiotherapists in delivering treatments, providing basic physiotherapy interventions, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a safe and clean treatment environment. The physiotherapist will educate patients on home exercise programs and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Participation in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives is also expected, along with adherence to professional standards and ethical considerations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a diploma in clinical nursing, with additional training in physiotherapy considered an advantage. A minimum of four years of nursing experience is required, including at least two years in a physiotherapy center. Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems is essential, along with strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common internet applications. The ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and demonstrate empathy and ethical considerations in patient care is crucial for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a diploma in clinical nursing. Candidates with additional training in physiotherapy will have an advantage in the selection process.
