Job Overview:
The Grants Intern position is designed to provide essential support to the Grants Officer and the broader grants team within the Norwegian Refugee Council. This role is pivotal in ensuring that administrative and compliance processes are executed smoothly, which is crucial for the effective management of grants. The intern will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and fostering coordination among various teams, including program, finance, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). The position involves updating grants trackers, organizing project cycle management meetings, and assisting with donor reporting requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Grants Intern will have a variety of responsibilities that include: ensuring compliance with NRC policies and donor guidelines; providing administrative and coordination support to the grants team; maintaining effective filing and documentation systems; supporting process improvement initiatives; assisting in updating grants trackers and management tools; coordinating project cycle management meetings and following up on action points; upholding ethical standards and confidentiality; contributing to internal coordination and reporting; tracking donor requirements, reporting deadlines, and deliverables; supporting internal communication between program, finance, and M&E teams; assisting in organizing meetings, trainings, and workshops; maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records; and performing other duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. They should have 0–2 years of relevant experience in grants, administration, or project support. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial, as is proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. An interest in humanitarian and development work is also important for this role.

Educational Background:
