Job Overview:
The consultancy role focuses on providing strategic and operational support for UNICEF’s digital learning portfolio in Poland. This includes managing the Akelius Language Learning Programme, the Learning Passport e-learning platform, and the Pstacja UKR initiative. These programs aim to enhance access to quality education for both refugee and host community learners through innovative digital solutions that promote inclusion, resilience, and lifelong learning. The consultant will work under the supervision of the Chief of Education, acting as the focal point for digital learning within the Education Section. Responsibilities include overseeing the coordination and administration of digital learning platforms, ensuring their effective functioning, and aligning them with UNICEF’s strategic priorities and donor requirements. The consultant will also support education partners and implementing agencies in designing, developing, and deploying engaging digital learning content, while driving outreach efforts to promote these platforms among various stakeholders. Monitoring usage and impact across all platforms, implementing feedback mechanisms, and contributing to continuous improvement in digital learning delivery are also key aspects of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for several key tasks:
  • Overall administration of the Learning Passport e-learning platform, ensuring regular updates and troubleshooting.
  • Creating engaging e-learning content in collaboration with UNICEF implementing partners.
  • Implementing the Akelius programme and monitoring digital learning programme users.
  • Developing feedback and online evaluation tools and methodologies.
  • Contributing to online outreach campaigns for the Learning Passport and Akelius programs.
  • Supporting cooperation with implementing partners. Specific deliverables include: Platform Management and Administration (40 days), Monitoring and Analytics (51 days), Outreach and Engagement (71 days), and Partnership and Coordination (80 days).

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Pedagogy, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in e-learning. Fluency in both Polish and English is required, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in digital platform administration and knowledge of e-learning course creation platforms such as Easy Generator, TalentLMS, or iSpring Suite is essential. Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is considered an asset, as is previous experience with UNICEF or other UN organizations.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Pedagogy, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees may be preferred but are not explicitly stated as necessary.
