The consultant will work closely with the PFP Partnership Management team to ensure the strategic direction and growth of these partnerships, which are vital for maximizing income and non-financial value for UNICEF. The role involves coordinating partnership activities, aligning objectives with both organizational and partner goals, and identifying new collaboration opportunities. The consultant will also contribute to key renewal discussions and support the launch of the Global Emergency Alliance in 2026, as well as refine strategies for engaging with the financial services industry. Successful outcomes will not only meet financial targets but also enhance UNICEF's reputation and influence in the market.

  • Act as the focal point for the UNICEF Mental Health Coalition, identifying growth opportunities and summarizing outcomes.
  • Support the Global Emergency Alliance by assessing opportunities and building a partnership pipeline.
  • Develop and refine an engagement strategy for the financial sector, coordinating with internal teams and disseminating the strategy to relevant markets.
  • Review existing tools and processes for efficiency, documenting agreed mechanisms. 1

  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in corporate partnerships, including experience in commercial or non-commercial partnership management or marketing.
  • At least two years of international experience in the aforementioned areas is an asset.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, International Relations, or Social Sciences. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of corporate partnerships and to effectively engage with stakeholders.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience in corporate partnerships. This experience should ideally include roles in both field and program settings, as well as in commercial or non-commercial partnership management.
