Job Overview:
The Associate HROD FO position is integral to the Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) front office team, which is responsible for delivering the HROD agenda. This includes establishing a governance framework that enhances prioritization and collaboration among various teams within HROD. The role involves supporting the Principal FO in planning and prioritization efforts to ensure effective delivery against the HROD strategy. The Associate will also manage operational risks and oversee non-transformation related project portfolios. A key aspect of the role is to track submissions to senior committees and facilitate feedback processes, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and circulated in a timely manner. The position requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and communication, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement within the HROD framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate HROD FO will be responsible for several key accountabilities, including:
  • Governance: Chairing and facilitating governance forums with HRMT and senior stakeholders, providing updates and reports on operational and transformation activities, and ensuring that actions and deliverables are completed.
  • Engagement: Managing the internal HROD communication agenda, including regular updates and facilitating collaborative activities such as 'Breakfast and Learn' sessions.
  • Risk Management: Overseeing HROD risk compliance activities, maintaining risk registers, and preparing materials for quarterly meetings.
  • Information Management: Acting as the coordinator for HROD information management, including payroll release and user acceptance testing (UAT). The role also involves monitoring the production of governance papers and ensuring that all submissions to senior committees are timely and adequately prepared.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. A proactive and problem-solving approach is essential, along with the ability to challenge existing processes to achieve business results. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent data analysis capabilities, and a keen attention to detail are required. The ability to prioritize competing tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively manage multiple projects is crucial. Experience in project management practices such as AGILE or PRINCE2 is also necessary, along with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate analysis effectively.

Educational Background:
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in a relevant area may also be considered. Continuous professional development in project management or organizational development is advantageous.

Experience:
Candidates should have a proven track record of working in project teams, particularly in fast-paced and unstructured environments. Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and navigating internal politics is essential. The role requires a high degree of independence and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining appropriate checkpoints for accountability.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EBRD's operational regions would be considered an asset. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken formats are essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
