Job Overview: The Awards and Partnership Coordinator is a pivotal role within Relief International's operations in the Philippines, responsible for managing the organization's portfolio in the country. This position entails ensuring compliance with donor requirements, overseeing the development of proposals, coordinating reporting processes, and supporting the efficient implementation of programs. The coordinator acts as the primary liaison between in-country donors and RI regarding awards-related matters, collaborating closely with program, finance, and operational teams to uphold the highest standards of grant management. Duties and Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the Awards and Partnership Coordinator include leading and coordinating the development of high-quality funding proposals, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and aligning proposals with Relief International's strategic priorities. The coordinator will work closely with country program teams and the Desk to design projects that address donor priorities while integrating cross-cutting issues such as gender and protection. Additionally, the coordinator will maintain an up-to-date awards-tracking system, serve as a resource for program and support teams on donor regulations, and oversee the close-out process for awards. The role also involves coordinating donor reports, managing partnerships, and providing financial support to ensure that expenditures align with approved budgets and donor regulations. Furthermore, the coordinator will uphold RI's commitment to safeguarding vulnerable communities and ensure that all program designs adhere to safeguarding standards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in grants and awards development and management within development or humanitarian programs. Previous experience working with US grants, such as those from the Department of State and USAID/BHA, as well as with entities like UNICEF and UNOCHA, is essential. Proven experience in proposal development, report writing, and familiarity with awards management systems is required. Candidates should also demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English and have experience working in multicultural settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows is necessary, along with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational capabilities.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, as it provides the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively manage grants and partnerships.
