Job Overview:
The People & Culture, Projects & Business Partner role is a dual portfolio position that combines Human Resources Management and strategic business transformation project management. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, People & Culture, this role is crucial in delivering HR duties as a P&C Business Partner while also managing business operations projects. The individual will be responsible for providing data-informed HR advisory to leaders, focusing on workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and learning & development. Additionally, the role involves overseeing project management related to business operations, including risk management and strategic planning. The successful candidate will need to integrate people, processes, and technology to achieve organizational goals while ensuring psychological safety and diversity principles are upheld.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities of this role are divided into two main areas: People & Culture and Business Operations. In the People & Culture domain, the individual will deliver inclusive HR advisory services, manage performance and employee relations, coach leaders, and assist in developing HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals. They will also lead people projects, coordinate employee training programs, and ensure compliance with labour relations and employment legislation. In the Business Operations area, the role includes leading project lifecycles, developing project plans, managing resources and budgets, and supporting change management initiatives. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and monitor change adoption across the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in a managerial or business partner role. Experience in the International Development or NGO sector is highly desirable, as is demonstrated expertise in labour relations, particularly in unionized environments. Proficiency in project management is essential, with PMP certification being preferred. Candidates should also have strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences and build relationships across various cultural and organizational settings.

Educational Background:
A post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience in a relevant role may also be considered. Additional certifications in project management or change management would be advantageous and enhance a candidate's profile for this position.

Experience:
The role requires a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Management, specifically as an HR Manager or Business Partner. Candidates with experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in international development or NGOs, will be given preference. Demonstrated experience in managing HR functions in a unionized workplace is also essential, along with a proven track record in project management.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French is considered an asset. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across the organization.

Additional Notes:
This position is an 18-month contract with a salary range of $75,543.87 - $90,652.65 CAD, depending on skills and experience.
