Job Overview:
The Partnership Support Specialist position is designed to assist Partnership Specialists and Senior Management in enhancing collaboration with key stakeholders. The role involves providing an interface for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence. The primary goal is to increase UNICEF's visibility and influence in support of its mission. This position, classified at the NO-2 level, serves as a supportive role to higher-level professionals, focusing on research, document support, analysis, and recommendations. It is also an opportunity for incumbents to gain professional expertise and organizational knowledge, paving the way for further career advancement. The post holder will be responsible for implementing work plans, building and maintaining partnerships, developing key documents, and maintaining up-to-date information on partner trends, among other tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Partnership Support Specialist include: contributing to the implementation of work plans for assigned areas to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results; building and maintaining UNICEF's partnerships by supporting the development and implementation of standards and guidance; formulating work plans and strategies; developing key documents such as frameworks and fundraising materials; reviewing partner agreements for compliance; maintaining updated information on partner and income trends; analyzing development assistance policies; helping maintain effective relationships with member states and UN agencies; attending meetings and taking notes; contributing ideas for synergies with other UN agencies; preparing information for various stakeholders; gathering feedback on program activities; conducting research on potential new partners; and supporting the production of fundraising materials and donor missions.

Required Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications required for this position include a university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development, or a relevant technical field. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years of professional experience in areas such as public affairs, program management, resource mobilization, or external relations. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and proficiency in English is required, with fluency being desirable. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian) is considered an asset.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field such as international relations, political science, communications, or international development. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of the role and the environment in which UNICEF operates.

Experience:
