Job Overview: The Digital Media Support position is integral to the UN's communications and advocacy efforts, particularly in the context of the UN Secretary-General's Development System reform. The incumbent will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content, including photographs and videos, that will be utilized for social media and the UN's annual reports. This role is crucial for enhancing the visibility of the UN's work and ensuring that key events and initiatives are effectively documented and shared with the public. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders within the UN Country Team and involves attending significant events to capture impactful moments that reflect the UN's mission and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Digital Media Support role include:
Attending and documenting UN Day events, UN Tourism Conferences, UNIDO General Conferences, and other significant gatherings.
Producing a minimum of 10 high-resolution photographs per event, ensuring that the images are of professional quality and suitable for publication.
Creating a minimum of 10 video clips per event that capture the essence of the activities and engagements.
Collaborating with the Head of the RC Office and the Communication and Digital Media Advisor to align visual content with the UN's communication strategies.
Contributing to the development of assets for the Annual Country Results Report and other communication materials.
Ensuring that all produced content adheres to the UN's branding and communication guidelines.
Maintaining an organized archive of all visual assets created during the tenure.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a High School diploma as a minimum educational requirement. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in photography or videography is essential, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work that showcases the candidate's skills and expertise in visual storytelling.

Fluency in Arabic means being rated as 'fluent' in all four areas: speaking, reading, writing, and understanding. Knowledge of English should be rated as 'confident' in at least two of the four areas.
