Job Overview:
The Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) In-Out of School (Programme) Analyst will play a crucial role in engaging in policy and programmatic discussions to ensure that comprehensive sexuality education reaches marginalized youth populations. This position involves supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of youth-led activities within the UNFPA's Country Programme of Assistance to the Philippines. The analyst will analyze political, social, and economic trends to facilitate the delivery of UNFPA's adolescent and youth programs, working closely with various stakeholders including government counterparts, NGOs, and youth organizations. The role requires a commitment to promoting adolescent and youth rights, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and social norms transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Programme Analyst include collaborating with government counterparts and NGOs to design and implement youth-related projects that align with government priorities and UNFPA policies. The analyst will oversee the development of work plans, monitor and report on youth interventions, and provide program management support. Additionally, the analyst will analyze the political, social, and economic environment relevant to UNFPA activities, assess new policy developments impacting adolescents and youth, and ensure their integration into various thematic areas. The role also involves facilitating youth participation in UNFPA initiatives, establishing collaborative relationships with executing agencies and experts, and implementing knowledge management strategies to capture lessons learned. The analyst will support advocacy and resource mobilization efforts by preparing relevant documentation and participating in public events.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in public health, population, demography, or a related social science discipline. Specialized knowledge in comprehensive sexuality education or youth policies is an advantage. The position requires up to two years of professional experience in youth participation, project management, and policy development. Experience with social media and innovative CSE tools is essential, as well as a strong network of youth-led organizations. Practical experience in project design, monitoring, and evaluation is required, along with proficiency in office software and web-based management systems.

Educational Background:
An advanced degree in public health, population, demography, or a related social science discipline is required for this position. Specialized knowledge in comprehensive sexuality education or adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights is considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate's ability to contribute effectively to the role.

Experience:
The position requires up to two years of professional experience in youth participation, project management, and policy development. Candidates should have experience with social media and innovative offline CSE tools, as well as a strong network of youth-led organizations in the areas of adolescent sexual and reproductive health and comprehensive sexuality education. Experience in coordinating joint programs and practical experience in project design, monitoring, and evaluation are also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Filipino is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of other official UN languages is desirable, as it may enhance communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract lasting one year, which is renewable based on performance and funding availability. The role is non-rotational, meaning it does not require relocation to different duty stations.
