Job Overview: The Project Team Member will play a crucial role in the Helios+ project, which aims to facilitate the integration of third-country nationals into the labor market in Crete, Greece. This position involves close collaboration with national and local authorities, as well as experienced partners, to implement comprehensive actions that support beneficiaries of international protection. Duties and Responsibilities: The Project Team Member will support the supervisor in coordinating the work of the assigned project team, ensuring that tasks are organized effectively. Responsibilities include providing guidance and support to team members, maintaining a safe and well-equipped working environment, and monitoring the services provided by implementing partners. The candidate will assist in donor reporting, develop methodologies and tools for project implementation, and oversee the quality of project activities through verification and reporting. Additionally, the role involves collecting and updating data, facilitating communication with other project components, and representing the project in meetings with various stakeholders. The Project Team Member will also perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or a university degree in fields such as education, finance, psychology, social work, law, or related areas, along with at least one year of work experience. A master's degree in the aforementioned fields is considered an advantage. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a combination of knowledge, education, training, and skills necessary to fulfill the essential functions of the position, and experience in a multicultural environment is preferred.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include a high school diploma or a university degree in relevant fields such as education, finance, statistics, psychology, social work, law, international relations, human resources, management, business administration, political science, sociology, or public administration. Accredited institutions recognized by the UNESCO World Higher Education Database are preferred. A master's degree in these fields will be viewed favorably during the selection process.
Experience: A minimum of one year of previous work experience is required for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the essential functions of the role, supported by relevant knowledge and skills. Experience in a multicultural environment is advantageous, as the role involves working with diverse populations and stakeholders.
Languages: Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French and Spanish, is considered a plus.
