Job Overview:
The IT Analyst, Business Solutions position at the World Bank Group is designed for individuals who are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex development challenges. The role is situated within the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency, which plays a crucial role in enabling the organization to achieve its mission of ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing transformative information and technology solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank Group's operations. This position requires a strong technical background in cloud technologies and data management principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions. The candidate will engage in an Agile transformation journey, reshaping the operating model to increase value creation and ensure that users have easy access to information and systems. The role also involves contributing to the development of a cloud-based data management platform that serves the Finance complex's needs, ensuring a single source of truth for data usage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the IT Analyst include: clearly defining the scope and solutions for both Capital and Run-the-Bank (RTB) projects; capturing, analyzing, and organizing business requirements; prioritizing requirements based on business needs; developing software components and producing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI; contributing to technical discussions for new solutions; identifying and documenting non-functional requirements; creating business process maps and data flow diagrams; communicating business requirements to technical staff; leading the identification and documentation of business metrics; determining systems of record with source system experts; overseeing testing of data acquisition processes; assisting data modelers in preparing and reviewing data models; participating in application testing; and providing recommendations for business improvements and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field, with a master's degree in computer science or business administration preferred. They should have prior experience in Treasury/Finance or Financial Risk management, as well as SAFe Agile development experience and certification. Industry certifications or academic credentials in software development are also required. Extensive experience working with data, SQL, and scripting is essential, along with application support experience in a demanding user environment. Candidates should have experience in conducting structured interviews to elicit key information for IT systems development and providing IT-enabled solutions to financial institutions. Strong expertise in business and technical process improvement, as well as experience with data and business process modeling tools, is necessary. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and proven business judgment are also important.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes at least a bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or a related field. A master's level degree in computer science or business administration is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of complex systems and business processes.

Experience:
Candidates should have substantial experience in relevant fields, particularly in Treasury/Finance or Financial Risk management. They should have a proven track record of working with data and IT systems, demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects and deliver effective solutions. Experience in Agile development methodologies and application support in a diverse environment is also crucial.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, which is essential for effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders. While not required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with a broader range of partners and clients.
