Job Overview:
The Strategic Sourcing Partner - Technology will be a key member of the Global Financial & Accounting Services (GFAS) team, which is responsible for providing innovative global business solutions in various financial operations. This role involves strategic sourcing, category and vendor management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Strategic Sourcing to lead complex sourcing initiatives, manage the IT source to contracting process, negotiate contracts, and support the development of new processes and tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in strategic sourcing, particularly in the technology sector, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Strategic Sourcing Partner include leading strategic sourcing execution for technology needs, supporting the development of category sourcing strategies for software, hardware, and IT professional services, and representing the SS&P team in vendor selection processes. The role requires collaboration with business owners on RFPs, new contracts, and renewals, as well as establishing key performance indicators to track progress. The candidate will also facilitate performance conversations with vendors, educate partners on the sourcing process, and develop strategies for preferred vendor programs. Additionally, the role involves managing the IT punchout catalog and working with finance partners to prioritize procurement activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 7 years of combined IT procurement experience, including sourcing and procurement expertise. Strong negotiating and contracting skills are essential, as well as a solid understanding of procurement systems such as Coupa and Docusign. The candidate should demonstrate experience in managing vendor programs and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. A collaborative mindset and a focus on service excellence are also critical for success in this role.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with an advanced degree in Business, Technology, Economics, or Supply Chain preferred but not mandatory. The educational background should support the candidate's ability to understand complex procurement processes and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives effectively.

Experience:
The position requires at least 7 years of relevant experience in IT procurement, with a strong emphasis on sourcing and category management. Candidates should have a proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships, particularly in the technology sector. Experience working collaboratively across various functions and businesses is also necessary to ensure effective execution of procurement strategies.
