Job Overview:
The Administrative Support position at FHI 360 involves performing a variety of administrative and office support duties essential for the smooth operation of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documents and reports, utilizing office technology, maintaining records, organizing files, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The Administrative Support role is based in FHI 360’s offices in Yaounde, Cameroon, and is integral to the success of the EpiC project, which aims to achieve HIV epidemic control and improve health outcomes for at-risk populations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Support position include serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, reviewing data for accuracy, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars. The role involves preparing routine status reports, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining inventories, and providing administrative support for copying, faxing, and large-scale mailings. The candidate will also assist with travel arrangements, manage petty cash transactions, and handle confidential information. Additional responsibilities include drafting written responses, organizing and prioritizing information, and supporting special projects as needed. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Administrative Support position should possess an Associate's Degree or an international equivalent in Business Administration or a related field, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience is typically required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Previous experience working for a non-government organization (NGO) is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an Associate's Degree or an international equivalent in Business Administration or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, indicating a higher level of education and understanding of business principles and practices relevant to the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in administrative support or a similar role. Candidates should have a proven track record of effectively managing office tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining organizational efficiency. Experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) setting is considered a significant advantage, as it demonstrates familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of such environments.

Languages:
