Job Overview:
The SES Regional Specialist will work under the guidance of the Digital Delivery Manager in Geneva and coordinate with the Global SES Team. The primary purpose of this role is to gather business requirements, conduct business process redesign, and provide support on testing, training, report writing, analysis, and implementation of Salesforce and SES in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Region. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring that UNICEF fundraising operations are equipped with cutting-edge systems to maximize funds for improving children's lives. This role involves actively participating in an AGILE-based development framework, including design, testing, training, go-live support, and documentation, with a focus on finalizing SES implementation in Argentina during the consultancy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • CRM Requirements and Delivery Support: Identify and articulate specific CRM requirements with UNICEF offices, work with local market teams, HQ, and vendors for successful Salesforce-based solution delivery, and continuously communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solution Design and Sustainability: Provide feedback on system design and solution updates for LAC markets, ensure regional needs are included in global solution updates, analyze current fundraising business processes, and support the agile development process through story prioritization and backlog grooming.
  • Business Decisions and Process Improvement: Support business decisions from fundraising and supporter experience perspectives, understand and guide the technological solution (Sales Cloud), recommend product enhancements, and identify areas for business process improvement.
  • Implementation Readiness and Knowledge Management: Provide readiness checklists for go-live, contribute to the development of SES Deployment Suite assets, and support knowledge management activities.
  • Communication and Regional Support: Keep the LACRO Digital Space updated with relevant SES information, collaborate with local third-party service providers, and provide advice on project governance.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include an advanced university degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field. Alternatively, a first university degree combined with two additional years of professional experience may be accepted. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in Project Management or as a Marketing Manager is required, along with proven knowledge of fundraising business processes and thorough understanding of Salesforce. Knowledge of Donor Perfect is an asset. Professional technical knowledge and expertise in the use of DevOps, extensive experience using various testing methodologies, and experience developing business requirements documents are also required.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant field is required. Alternatively, a first university degree in a relevant field combined with two additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in Project Management or as a Marketing Manager is required. Proven knowledge of fundraising business processes, both in a local market and best practices in a global organization, is an asset. Thorough understanding, knowledge, and experience of Salesforce are essential, while knowledge of Donor Perfect is an additional asset.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Spanish is required for the SES Regional Specialist for the LAC Region. Knowledge of Portuguese will also be considered an asset for the Specialist role in the LAC Region.

Additional Notes:
The consultancy may involve travel on a per-need basis, which will be paid by UNICEF. The selected candidate must ensure that their visa and health insurance are valid for the entire contract period. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a WHO-endorsed vaccine.
