Job Overview:
As a Business Development Analyst II at FHI 360, you will be instrumental in driving strategic growth through comprehensive market analysis, CRM optimization, and the provision of data-driven insights. You will be responsible for empowering teams with actionable intelligence that can influence decision-making and enhance organizational effectiveness. Your work will involve conducting thorough market and competitive analyses, particularly focusing on foundation and corporate giving markets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. You will also play a key role in supporting the organizational adoption of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, to improve data integrity and optimize outreach strategies. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Analyst II include conducting market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the foundation and corporate giving sectors. You will support the organizational adoption of CRM systems, ensuring that processes are in place to improve data integrity and track engagement effectively. Additionally, you will develop and lead training sessions for staff across various levels of the organization, focusing on systems, tools, and reporting best practices. Your role will also involve collecting, manipulating, and analyzing data to create custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations that assist stakeholders in interpreting and utilizing data effectively. Furthermore, you will support the design, testing, and implementation of business systems and processes, preparing procedural and operational manuals as necessary. Staying informed on industry trends and funding landscapes will also be a critical part of your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and a strong desire to solve problems proactively. A solid background in foundation and corporate engagement, as well as business development, is essential. Proven experience in helping organizations successfully adopt CRM practices, particularly Salesforce, is required. Candidates should also have training and facilitation skills that can be applied across diverse teams. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary, along with expertise in market analysis, particularly in the context of foundation and corporate giving. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills are crucial, especially in relation to leading training sessions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI is also required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position. The educational background should be relevant to the field of business development, market analysis, or a related area that supports the functions of the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have between 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience. This experience should ideally encompass roles that involve business development, market analysis, and CRM system implementation, particularly within the nonprofit or corporate sectors.
