Job Overview: The Systems/Data Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in the implementation of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system at UNRWA. This position is designed for an experienced professional who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of seamless data and systems integration. The specialist will ensure that there is an accurate, secure, and efficient flow of information across the EMR ecosystem, which is vital for enhancing the quality and continuity of healthcare services provided at UNRWA health centers. The role requires a deep understanding of data management and integration processes, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external teams to achieve project goals.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including: reviewing current integrations and interfaces with external systems and databases, analyzing and architecting newly requested integrations, designing and implementing secure data exchanges between the EMR and other systems, conducting testing and documentation, providing go-live and post-integration support, and coordinating with both internal and external teams. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for delivering specific outputs such as assessments, solution architecture, testing documentation, deployment, post-integration support, and knowledge transfer upon project closure. The role may also involve performing other related duties as required to ensure the successful implementation of the EMR system.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in information technology or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in data and systems management, including data migration, is required. Strong knowledge in API integration and development, particularly with RESTful APIs and API protocols, is essential. Proficiency in database management, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server (including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers), is also necessary. Experience with integration platforms and middleware tools, as well as hands-on experience in ETL and data transformation, is expected. Candidates should have a good understanding of web technologies, including HTTP methods, status codes, and API security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security measures such as OAuth2 and API keys. Familiarity with query languages like JSONPath or XPath is also beneficial.

The monthly remuneration for this position is equivalent to the UNRWA salary scale of Grade 15 Step 1, amounting to JD1,080.37 for each fully completed month.
