Job Overview: The Partner Services Specialist (Account Manager) role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing relationships with the Forum’s Partners in Japan. This position is designed for an experienced professional who can ensure that Partners receive exceptional service and support. The Specialist will be responsible for building and reinforcing interactions with key contacts at Forum Partner companies, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are fully engaged with the Forum’s activities. The role requires a proactive approach to partner engagement, focusing on retention and satisfaction through tailored engagement plans that align with the Partners' business priorities. The Specialist will work closely with various teams within the Forum to deliver a seamless experience for Partners, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s mission in Japan.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Partner Services Specialist include maintaining ongoing engagement with Forum Partners by building and nurturing relationships with Partner Representatives. The Specialist will ensure retention by delivering tailored engagement plans that address the priorities of Partners and deepen their involvement in relevant Forum activities. Responsibilities also include onboarding new Partner Representatives into the Forum ecosystem, contributing to the development of engagement plans in collaboration with Global Industries and Regional Business teams, and structuring and delivering events for Partners, including managing registrations, agendas, speaking roles, and logistics. Additionally, the Specialist will monitor and generate intelligence on Partner companies to identify potential risks and opportunities for engagement, and lead internal processes affecting Partners, such as managing unpaid dues and contracts.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Partner Services Specialist position must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience with Japanese companies is required, along with a strong understanding of Japanese and international cultures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in key account management and business relationship development, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with multiple functions within an organization. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in both Japanese and English are essential. The candidate should also exhibit strong collaboration skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate complex environments with disciplined follow-through.
