Job Posting Organization: Solidarités International (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association that has been operational for over 40 years. The organization operates in 26 countries and employs around 3,200 people, including expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and volunteers. Job Overview: The Grants and Partnership Manager (GPM) plays a crucial role as the focal point for donor accountability within the mission, ensuring effective grant management throughout the project cycle. The GPM reports to the Grants & Partnership Coordinator and collaborates closely with coordination, base teams, and support departments. This position involves strategic contributions to the mission's development, proactive identification of funding opportunities, and oversight of high-quality proposal and report submissions. The GPM is responsible for ensuring compliance with donor procedures, building staff capacity on accountability tools, and maintaining rigorous follow-up on contractual obligations from contracting to closure. Additionally, the GPM collaborates with the Ethics and Compliance Department to contribute to audit preparation and documentation, while also supervising the Reporting and Communication Manager in their daily tasks. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to various donor guidelines and deadlines, as well as the ability to align various teams and stakeholders to ensure consistency in proposal development and manage diverse inputs to create cohesive and accurate project documents.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Grants and Partnership Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Grants and Partnership Manager position should possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
0-2 years of experience in similar positions.
Strong understanding of humanitarian donor regulations and guidelines, including those from ECHO, BHA, UN agencies, and French donors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic skills in graphic design.
Excellent reporting skills, including report formatting, data analysis, and visualization, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Exceptional writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Humanitarian Action, human rights, social science (geography, sociology, anthropology, history), or Political Science. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of humanitarian work and the socio-political contexts in which SI operates.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with 0-2 years of experience in similar roles. This experience is crucial for understanding the dynamics of grant management and donor relations in a humanitarian context.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with donors. Knowledge of Burmese is desirable, as it facilitates communication with local stakeholders. Proficiency in French is considered an asset, particularly since a significant portion of SI's funding comes from French donors.

The salary for this position starts from EUR 2100 gross per month, which includes a base salary of EUR 2310 plus a 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly. Additionally, a monthly Per Diem of USD 700 is provided. SI covers accommodation costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's country of origin and the place of assignment. During the assignment, a system of alternation between work and time off is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every three months, with a USD 850 break allowance. SI also grants one additional rest day per month worked. Expatriates benefit from a comprehensive insurance package that covers healthcare expenses, including medical, surgical, dental, and ophthalmological expenses, as well as repatriation costs. Essential vaccinations and antimalarial treatment costs are also refunded. Living conditions in Yangon are reported to be good, with access to a variety of restaurants, bars, markets, and hotels with good facilities. The curfew in Yangon is from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.
