Job Overview:
The Finance Assistant position at NRC is crucial for supporting the financial operations within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with NRC's policies and procedures while assisting in the implementation of support functions as outlined in the action plan. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for drafting reports on the progress of support activities as requested by supervisors or management, ensuring proper archiving of documents, and promoting improvements in support functions. Additionally, the role includes managing cash expenditures, preparing bank transactions, and ensuring that accounting documents are established in accordance with NRC procedures. The Finance Assistant will work closely with various departments, including Administration, Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics, to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with institutional regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Assistant will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: verifying supporting documents for receipts and payments, preparing daily reports of bank and cash expenditures, monitoring advances granted to staff and various partners, preparing vouchers for disbursements and receipts, and being responsible for the physical and electronic archiving of financial documents. The role also involves making payments to suppliers and beneficiaries, contributing to cash account reconciliations, ensuring that signatories on accounting documents are authorized according to the delegation of authority table, and performing any other relevant tasks related to the function. Required Qualifications:
