Job Overview: As a Delivery Manager at EBRD, you will lead the Enterprise Cloud Platform squad, focusing on delivering robust and scalable infrastructure solutions through modern DevOps practices. Your role will involve driving Agile delivery across cloud infrastructure while maintaining a product mindset. You will empower your team to innovate on the Azure platform, ensuring that the outcomes are secure, efficient, and of high quality. The position requires a strong technical background, experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies, and a deep understanding of Azure cloud services. You will be expected to make a significant impact in a mission-driven organization, contributing to the overall success of the IT delivery programs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will include leading and taking ownership of complex, cross-functional IT delivery programs across multiple squads. You will manage Agile delivery processes, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery of IT solutions that align with business value and technical outcomes. Building and managing relationships with senior IT and business stakeholders will be crucial, as will instilling a product mindset within your teams. You will mentor and coach team members on Agile delivery best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and self-organization. Additionally, you will identify and implement improvements to Agile delivery practices, ensuring that methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and continuous delivery are optimized for large-scale IT delivery efforts. You will also be responsible for managing delivery governance, including budgets, financial controls, and service transitions, while proactively identifying and managing delivery risks and dependencies.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must possess an expert understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with significant experience in leading complex technology delivery programs. You should have in-depth knowledge of Waterfall and hybrid adaptive delivery frameworks, enabling you to integrate these practices within Agile delivery. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for engaging with senior stakeholders across both business and technical teams. You should be skilled in translating complex project information for diverse audiences and have experience in risk and dependency management. A proven track record of managing multiple teams and driving delivery outcomes is required, along with expertise in scaling Agile practices across an organization.
Educational Background: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a delivery, Agile, or business-related field is required for this position. Advanced Agile certifications, such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Advanced ScrumMaster (A-CSM), are highly desirable and demonstrate your in-depth Agile expertise.
Experience: Candidates should have extensive experience in Agile delivery, particularly in leading complex, cross-functional programs and projects. Proven success in managing and resolving risks, dependencies, and issues at an enterprise level is necessary, along with experience in large-scale, cross-functional delivery environments. You should be adept at navigating complexity and integrating Agile methods across diverse functions.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the EBRD member countries would be considered an asset, enhancing your ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This position is a fixed-term contract lasting for three years. The EBRD promotes a hybrid and flexible working environment, encouraging collaboration in person at least three days a week.
