Job Overview:
The Full-Stack Web Developer position is situated within the Data Science and Decision-Support Division (DSDSD) of ESCWA. This division plays a crucial role in the organization's modernization and innovation efforts by providing advanced analytics and decision-support services. The developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining software applications that adhere to UN standards for web development and IT technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of programming languages and tools, as well as the ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation. The developer will work on various projects that leverage data-driven insights and emerging technologies to support evidence-based decision-making and enhance organizational efficiency. The position is expected to last for approximately 2.5 months, during which the developer will contribute to the development of digital decision-support tools and ensure the integration of data security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security standards and privacy protections in all web applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Full-Stack Web Developer will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: developing and implementing web applications and websites that align with the UNICT strategy and ESCWA’s objectives; maintaining and optimizing existing websites and applications to improve performance; contributing to data-driven projects, including Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization initiatives; analyzing user requirements and translating them into system specifications; performing unit and integrated testing to ensure functionality; creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals and training materials; providing ongoing support for deployed websites and applications; researching emerging technologies and industry trends; and performing other related tasks as required by UN or ESCWA Strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma along with a certification or degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in the computer software industry is required, specifically as an ASP.NET Core developer. Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as back-end languages like C#, is essential. Additionally, candidates must have experience with SQL Server and open-source data visualization libraries like Apache ECharts. Knowledge of database design and development using MS SQL Relational Database is required, along with familiarity with other databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma and a certification or degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Experience:
