GIZ operates in 120 countries, collaborating with partner organizations on various projects aimed at improving living conditions globally. Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position within the Change Team of the S4GIZ project offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the largest change project at GIZ, which is part of the digital transformation initiative. The primary goal of the S4GIZ project is to integrate GIZ's core business processes into the future IT system SAP S/S4HANA, thereby enhancing the organization's efficiency and future viability. This transformation is not limited to the digitization of processes but also involves fundamental changes in workflows. The Change Management aspect of the project includes communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and conducting targeted change management analyses. Interns will have the chance to work closely with various departments within GIZ, allowing them to build a comprehensive professional network while contributing to significant organizational changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an intern in the Change Team, your main responsibilities will include: assisting in the implementation of the S4GIZ project strategy; supporting the Change Management team in executing change measures, which includes managing a change network, communicating about changes, and preparing and planning training sessions; organizing and conducting internal and external workshops and events, both virtually and in-person; conducting research in the fields of digital transformation and change management; updating and editing communication materials and maintaining the intranet presence; and supporting knowledge management within the S4GIZ project along with various administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in (business) informatics, a technical or social science field, psychology, or communication sciences. Applicants should be at least in their 4th semester of study or have graduated within the last six months. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and MS Teams is required, along with a personable demeanor and strong organizational skills, including self-directed, structured, and reliable work habits, as well as good time management abilities.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be currently enrolled in a university program or engaged in a training program that necessitates the completion of an internship. Alternatively, candidates should have graduated no more than six months prior to the start of the internship. This educational requirement ensures that interns are equipped with the theoretical knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to the project.

Experience:
While specific prior experience is not mandatory, candidates are encouraged to have some level of practical experience, such as internships or student jobs, particularly in areas related to change management, digital transformation, or communication. This experience will help interns to better understand the dynamics of the workplace and the specific challenges associated with change initiatives.
