Job Overview: The position of Technical Analyst for People Analytics and Payroll is crucial for supporting the People Analytics and Payroll Section in managing Human Resources Organizational System Development (HROSD) projects. This role focuses on system automation and process management, ensuring that the HRD systems are maintained and developed in collaboration with the IT Department. The analyst will work on improving HR dashboards and introducing automated tools that facilitate a modernized approach to streamline business operations. The position requires a proactive individual who can provide timely data analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. The expected duration of this role is 11 months, and it is based in Amman, Jordan, requiring full-time attendance at the headquarters.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Technical Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include:
Leading Technical Analysis and System Automation by ensuring the continuous automation and testing of the HR SAP system through collaboration with stakeholders, applying high-level technical and analytical skills.
Developing and Integrating Digital Tools and Dashboards to enhance existing HR digital platforms and introduce new tools such as HR dashboards, e-services, Chatbot, REACH, EPER, OSF, and others to support data-driven decision-making and user-centric services.
Driving Change Management and Process Optimization by executing change management strategies to streamline HR operational services, focusing on process re-engineering and automation.
Championing Automation and Innovation Initiatives by initiating ideas and technical solutions aligned with HRD’s strategic objectives, aiming to reduce paper-based and manual work through effective automated processes.
Ensuring Accountability to Work Plans by delivering results in accordance with a detailed work plan, maintaining compliance with assigned tasks and timelines.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, data analytics, or a related field. Additionally, they should have five to six years of progressively responsible relevant experience in information technology, data analysis, human resources business analytics, designing and implementing monitoring dashboards, and process engineering. A good understanding of HR business processes, practices, and procedures, along with a background in information technology, is essential. Familiarity with data reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is also required.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution. This foundational education is critical for understanding the technical aspects of the role and for effectively engaging with the HR systems and data analytics.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have five to six years of progressively responsible experience in relevant fields. This experience should encompass information technology, data analysis, human resources business analytics, and the design and implementation of monitoring dashboards. Candidates should also have experience in process engineering, which is vital for optimizing HR operations and implementing effective automation solutions.
Languages: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are mandatory for this position. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective collaboration and communication within the organization and with stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time position based at the UN headquarters in Amman, Jordan. The remuneration for this role ranges from JOD 997.3 to 1098.
