Job Overview:
The Home Study and Post-Release Services Regional Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the IRC's HSPRS programs across various offices. This position is designed to provide trauma-informed and supportive oversight, ensuring that case management onboarding and orientation are completed effectively. The Regional Coordinator is responsible for providing weekly supervision to local HSPRS supervisors, monitoring service provision, and ensuring adherence to best practices. This role involves writing monthly reports, monitoring data, and keeping staff updated on changing policies and regulations that may affect their work. The Regional Coordinator's primary goal is to ensure that the services delivered are of high quality and in the best interest of the children and families served, while also meeting contractual requirements for the number of children receiving services. This position is part of a 36-month contract, ending on September 30, 2026, and is integral to the success of the HSPRS program, which aims to assess the safety and suitability of sponsors for unaccompanied children and provide ongoing support to ensure their stability and safety in the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Coordinator will have a wide range of responsibilities, including providing regional oversight and coordination for the IRC's HSPRS programs. This includes implementing and consulting on local program policies and procedures, supervising HQ Casework Supervisors, and maintaining strong communication with office Casework Supervisors to support HSPRS Caseworkers. The Coordinator will monitor case management service provision, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely, and act as a point of escalation for complex cases and client crises. This role also involves liaising with child welfare and law enforcement agencies as necessary. The Regional Coordinator will ensure that all case managers are properly onboarded and oriented, providing ongoing professional development training in casework and client-facing skills. Additionally, the Coordinator will support local offices in conducting quality assurance checkpoints and facilitate regional meetings with external stakeholders. The position requires a proactive approach to managing staff development, training, and ensuring compliance with program standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a master's degree with three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience, along with demonstrated leadership abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience in family reunification, home assessment, or foster care/child welfare. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child protection principles and experience in managing complex client situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates must also be able to pass a criminal background check and be cleared by the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include a master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or a related discipline, along with three years of relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. The educational background should reflect a strong foundation in social services, child welfare, or a related area, with a focus on practical application in case management and support services.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience for candidates with a master's degree, or five years for those with a bachelor's degree. Experience in family reunification, home assessments, or child welfare is preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing complex client situations, particularly in the context of child protection and safety. Experience in providing Home Study and Post-Release Services case management is essential, along with the ability to analyze data and write comprehensive reports.

Languages:
Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred for this position. Candidates should have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Strong writing skills for reports and business correspondence are also necessary.

The compensation for this position ranges from $77,343 to $80,120.04, depending on various factors such as labor market conditions, job type, and individual candidate experience.
