Job Overview:
The Project Manager for the Ukraine Analysis Hub will oversee the operational management of the hub, ensuring effective processes, grant compliance, and smooth coordination among team members, partners, and ACAPS global support functions. This role is crucial for strategic planning, maintaining donor relations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality analytical and capacity-building activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hub, implementing and improving operational processes, and ensuring that the team is well-coordinated and functioning effectively. They will also play a key role in liaising with various support functions to ensure that all operational needs are met in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for several key areas: Project Management & Coordination, where they will ensure effective day-to-day operations of the hub, implement and improve operational processes, and coordinate internal planning and capacity-building activities. In Grant & Financial Management, they will lead donor reporting processes, monitor budget spending, and support fundraising efforts. Team & HR Management will involve line-managing the Administration Officer, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and maintaining updated organizational charts. In Partnerships & Representation, the Project Manager will represent the hub with partners and donors, support the development of partnerships, and coordinate capacity-building activities. Additionally, they will perform any other tasks delegated by the Team Leader, ensuring that all aspects of the hub's operations are running smoothly and effectively.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in humanitarian action, project management, social sciences, international relations, research, international development, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of additional relevant experience will be accepted. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in international organizations, with at least 2 years in the humanitarian sector. A strong track record in donor relations, proposal development, and grant reporting is preferred, along with excellent writing and presentation skills. The candidate should also have proven experience managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams, a solid understanding of the humanitarian sector, and excellent IT skills.

Educational Background:
Candidates are required to have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as humanitarian action, project management, social sciences, international relations, research, or international development. A Bachelor’s degree is acceptable if accompanied by at least 2 years of additional relevant experience. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of humanitarian work and project management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in international organizations, with at least 2 years specifically in the humanitarian sector. Candidates should have a strong background in managing projects, particularly in fast-paced environments, and should be familiar with the dynamics of donor relations and grant reporting. Experience in humanitarian analysis is considered an asset, as is a proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.

Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an advantage, particularly in the context of working with diverse stakeholders in the humanitarian sector.

Additional Notes:
The position is full-time and is based in Kyiv, with at least 2 days per week required to work from the office. The contract is for 100% until 31 March 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability. The starting date for this position is set for 1 October 202
