Job Overview: The position of Online Volunteer at UNEP involves contributing to the assessment and enhancement of the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) digital platforms. They will evaluate user experience from multiple perspectives, including navigation, accessibility, and usability. Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct a systematic review of the content across all sections of the assigned GGKP platform.
Identify and document outdated information, broken links, and instances of content repetition.
Evaluate user experience, focusing on navigation, accessibility, and usability aspects.
Assess the functionality of the platform, identifying potential bugs and technical issues from a user perspective.
Provide a comprehensive set of recommendations for content updates, functionality improvements, and enhancements to the user experience.
Create detailed documentation of findings, including prioritized suggestions for improvement.
Collaborate with other volunteers and UNEP staff to ensure a cohesive approach to platform enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in content review and digital platform assessment.
Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices.
Ability to systematically analyze content and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with digital platforms and online content management systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Educational Background: A background in environmental studies, communications, digital media, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with non-profit organizations or international agencies is a plus. Familiarity with the United Nations system and its environmental initiatives will be beneficial.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French or Spanish, is considered an asset, as it may enhance communication with a broader audience.
Additional Notes: This is a volunteer position, and the duration of the assignment is flexible. Volunteers will work remotely and are expected to commit to reviewing approximately 30-40 sections and pages of the platform during their assignment.
