Job Overview:
The Consultant for Human Rights Due Diligence Training Program will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing the capacity of first-tier suppliers in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This position requires a deep understanding of human rights due diligence processes and the ability to design training modules that promote responsible and sustainable business practices. The consultant will be responsible for creating a curriculum that includes both virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring that participants gain practical skills to improve labor conditions and implement human rights management systems. The consultant will also be tasked with measuring the impact of the training on participants' knowledge and capabilities, ensuring that the program remains relevant and effective in addressing current challenges in human rights and labor practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for several key deliverables, including: 1) Developing a detailed work plan outlining how the consultancy objectives will be achieved, including a timeline of activities. 2) Creating a conceptual note for the training course that includes a methodological proposal, context of the capacity-building program, logistical details, and learning objectives. 3) Drafting participant guides and planning the content for various training modules, ensuring that each module includes comprehensive learning materials and assessments. 4) Coordinating with technical teams to define course structure and manage logistics for both virtual and in-person training sessions. 5) Organizing a two-day in-person event in Mexico City, including all logistical arrangements, participant engagement, and post-event reporting. 6) Developing and delivering webinars on specific topics related to human rights and labor practices, ensuring that all materials are accessible and engaging for participants. 7) Preparing final reports and evaluations of the training program, including participant feedback and recommendations for future improvements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong educational background in fields related to human rights, corporate social responsibility, or supply chain management. A postgraduate degree in relevant areas will be highly valued. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of international labor standards, ethical recruitment practices, and occupational health and safety regulations. Experience in developing educational content and training programs related to human rights due diligence is essential, along with proven skills in facilitating both in-person and online training sessions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are also required.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a higher education degree or specialization in areas relevant to the position, such as human rights, corporate social responsibility, or supply chain management. A postgraduate degree in these fields will be considered an asset, along with additional training in facilitation and educational methodologies.

Experience:
Candidates should have substantial experience in the field of human rights, particularly in relation to labor rights and ethical recruitment. A proven track record in developing and implementing training programs, workshops, or courses focused on human rights due diligence is necessary. Experience in coordinating educational activities across various platforms, including online learning environments, is also required. The consultant should demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Languages:
Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory for this position. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with participants and stakeholders.
