Job Overview: The SES Fundraising Specialist (CRM Success) will play a crucial role in ensuring that UNICEF offices utilizing the Salesforce/Marketing Cloud platform maximize their fundraising performance. This position involves supporting UNICEF offices post-deployment, refining business processes for efficiency, maintaining data hygiene, and ensuring compliance with coding standards. The role also includes advising on data analytics, supporting the development of supporter journeys, and collaborating with various teams to enhance fundraising performance. The specialist will be responsible for the stabilization of the SES Digital Platform across multiple regions, ensuring that each office adheres to best practices and standards while optimizing their fundraising capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide post-deployment support and maintenance for UNICEF offices using the SES Digital Platform, ensuring compliance and optimization for fundraising performance.
Advise on business decisions related to fundraising and supporter experience, considering cost and ROI.
Ensure data hygiene and standardization, maintaining coding structures and campaign hierarchies.
Collaborate with markets and third-party vendors to enhance technology use for fundraising.
Identify areas for business process improvement and propose enhancements to the CORE system.
Manage a clear development plan for each office, ensuring resources are available for delivery.
Track global developments in fundraising platforms and maintain industry relationships.
Support the stabilization of the SES Digital Platform in specific regions, onboarding new markets, and ensuring smooth transitions.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate best practice exchanges.
Required Qualifications:
An advanced university degree in Business, Business Administration, Technology, Software, Marketing, or a relevant technical field is required. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with two additional years of experience may be accepted.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in business analysis, CRM implementations, IT system support, and ongoing system improvement is required.
Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud and various testing methodologies is essential.
Proven ability to develop business requirements documents and articulate complex requirements to technical teams is required.
Experience with UNICEF or the United Nations, fundraising, and leading training sessions is considered an asset.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in a relevant field such as Business, Business Administration, Technology, Software, or Marketing. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of five years of progressive experience in relevant fields, including business analysis, CRM implementations, and IT system support. Candidates should have experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud and a strong background in improving performance through various testing methodologies. Experience in developing business requirements documents and familiarity with fundraising practices will be advantageous.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset, and familiarity with another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is also beneficial.
Additional Notes: The position is a consultancy role, and candidates are required to indicate their all-inclusive fees in their cover letter. UNICEF will cover travel costs separately if business travel is necessary. Payment will be based on the submission of agreed deliverables, and UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment if deliverables do not meet required standards. Selected candidates will not be considered staff members and will not receive benefits such as leave entitlements or medical insurance. They are responsible for their tax liabilities and ensuring valid visa and health insurance for the contract duration. Selected candidates must confirm their fully vaccinated status against COVID-19 prior to assignment, although this does not apply to remote consultants.
