Job Overview:
The IAEA is seeking to build a talent pipeline for two distinct roles: Retail Assistant and Warehouse Worker. This initiative aims to create a roster of qualified candidates who possess expertise in areas such as store keeping, cash transactions, forklift driving, and warehousing. The purpose of this pipeline is to allow candidates to express their interest in short-term assignments at the IAEA's Vienna International Centre (VIC) Commissary. Candidates who are interested in these roles are encouraged to register and create personal profiles, indicating their preferred role in their motivation letters. It is important to note that recruitment is conducted on a local basis only, meaning that applicants must be legal residents of Austria. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for the Retail Assistant and Warehouse Worker positions include, but are not limited to: managing store inventory, assisting customers with purchases, processing cash transactions accurately, operating forklifts safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates will be expected to prioritize work assignments, organize their schedules, and perform routine tasks independently while meeting deadlines. Additionally, they must adapt to changing demands and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
