Job Overview: The Finance Associate role is situated within the Global Health Finance team, which is responsible for providing financial and business support to the Global Health division. This position involves direct collaboration with Program Strategy Teams (PST) to facilitate investment-making and management. The Finance Associate will assess the financial positions of grantees and vendors, evaluate and negotiate investment budgets, and monitor multi-year investments. The role also includes financial planning and forecasting to assist the PST Director in making resource prioritization decisions. The Finance Associate will play a crucial role in strengthening the financial oversight of the division's investment pipeline and individual programs, ensuring that financial strategies align with the overall goals of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Finance Associate will perform a variety of duties including partnering with Program Officers to provide financial insights during investment-making processes, conducting financial diligence on grantees and vendors to assess their financial positions and associated risks, and collaborating with these entities to develop and analyze investment budgets.
