Job Overview:
The Senior Program Officer, Data & Insights will play a crucial role within the Nutrition Team of the Global Growth & Opportunity division. This position requires a blend of expertise in undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, epidemiology, and data analysis to inform strategic decisions and assess program impact. The officer will collaborate closely with various programmatic teams and external partners to drive innovation in assessing nutritional vulnerabilities and to enhance the collection and use of data for optimizing Large-Scale Food Fortification (LSFF) programs. The role involves developing dynamic approaches to generate insights that will guide evidence-based decisions at both global and country levels, ultimately contributing to the foundation's mission of improving nutrition and achieving public health impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Program Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring activities that document institutional transformation and support change processes. This includes engaging with external partners to provide statistical and evaluation design expertise, analyzing and synthesizing research findings to inform the foundation's strategy, and developing evaluation models to support monitoring and learning activities. The officer will manage complex performance-based contracts or grants, negotiate grant opportunities, and represent the foundation in various collaborations. Additionally, the officer will serve as a point of contact for portfolio-related issues and support an inclusive culture within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in Public Health Nutrition, Implementation Research, International Development, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience. A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a similar role is required, with substantial expertise in research, evaluation, and data-driven decision-making within nutrition or global health programs. Experience working in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and with various stakeholders in the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans is essential. Educational Background:
