Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position in the Change Team of the S4GIZ project offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into GIZ's largest change project, which is part of the digital transformation initiative. Interns will engage with various departments within GIZ, allowing them to build a comprehensive network. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of the S4GIZ project strategy, supporting the Change Management team in executing change measures, and contributing to the planning and organization of workshops and events. Interns will also conduct research in the fields of digital transformation and change management, update communication materials, and assist with knowledge management within the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
During the internship, the intern will be involved in several key activities:
  • Assisting in the implementation of the S4GIZ project strategy.
  • Supporting the Change Management team in executing change measures, including managing a change network and communicating about change initiatives.
  • Preparing and planning training sessions.
  • Organizing and conducting internal and external workshops and events, both virtually and in person.
  • Conducting research related to digital transformation and change management.
  • Editing and updating communication materials and maintaining the intranet presence.
  • Supporting knowledge management within the S4GIZ project and handling administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates from all fields of study are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be at least in their 4th semester of study or have already completed their studies. Basic knowledge and interest in change management, communication, digital transformation, or adult education are advantageous. Previous work experience through internships or student jobs is desirable. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to present complex issues clearly and understandably. Candidates must have fluent German language skills, good English proficiency, and additional language skills are a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required, and knowledge of MS Teams is beneficial. A personable demeanor with strong organizational skills, reliability, and teamwork abilities is expected.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be enrolled in a university program or in a training program that includes an internship as an integral part. Alternatively, candidates who have graduated no more than six months prior to the start of the internship are also eligible to apply.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have some prior experience, which can be gained through internships or student jobs. This experience should ideally relate to the fields of change management, communication, or digital transformation, although it is not strictly required.

Languages:
Fluent German is mandatory, and good English skills are also required. Additional language skills are considered advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.
