Job Overview:
The Change Lead for Programme Compass is a pivotal role within the EBRD, responsible for leading the Change Horizontal within the programme’s management structure. This position involves shaping and delivering business change activities at the programme level, ensuring alignment with the established plan and deliverables. The Change Lead will also focus on the Finance vertical of the programme, which includes the implementation of key financial systems such as Concur, Ariba, and SAP S4Hana. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Finance staff, Project Managers, and third-party transformation partners, to ensure successful change management and communication strategies are executed effectively. The Change Lead will manage a Change Analyst and report directly to the Director of Programme Compass, making this a leadership role that requires strategic thinking and operational execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Change Lead will be responsible for overseeing all change activities related to the Compass programme and the Finance vertical. Key responsibilities include guiding the System Integration partner in producing tailored change deliverables, collaborating with Finance Product Owners to implement changes related to Expenses, Procurement, and FP&A, and managing the overall change, engagement, and training approach. This includes conducting stakeholder mapping, change impact assessments, and developing training plans for various user profiles. The Change Lead will also engage with senior management and facilitate communication campaigns, identify and resolve risks and issues, and ensure compliance with documentation and reporting standards. Additionally, the role involves providing input to governance processes, preparing recommendations for decision-making committees, and maintaining a detailed change management strategy throughout the programme.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in change management, particularly in relation to SAP or similar implementations. Essential qualifications include a deep understanding of change management methodologies, experience in delivering change and engagement activities, and the ability to tailor approaches to meet the unique needs of the programme. Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical. Candidates should also demonstrate experience in managing business and people change in complex environments, with a proven track record of producing high-quality materials and communications. Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is required, along with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this position. Candidates with additional qualifications such as a PROSCI certification will be viewed favorably. A background in finance or human resources processes is also advantageous, particularly in relation to cross-functional working.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in change management, particularly within large transformation programmes. This includes a history of successfully managing change activities, engaging stakeholders, and delivering training and communication strategies. Experience in a complex and politically sensitive environment is essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively. Candidates should have a history of working under tight deadlines and demonstrating a proactive, self-starting approach to their work.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and oral communication skills required. Additional language skills may be considered an asset, particularly if they relate to the regions in which the EBRD operates.
