Job Overview: The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is within the Change Team of the S4GIZ project, which is the largest change initiative at GIZ, aimed at integrating core business processes into the future IT system SAP S/S4HANA. This digital transformation is not just about digitizing processes but also involves a fundamental change in workflows. The Change Management aspect includes communication, stakeholder engagement, and conducting targeted change management analyses. Interns will gain insights into this significant change project and have the opportunity to build a comprehensive network within GIZ. The role involves supporting the implementation of change measures, organizing workshops, and updating communication materials, among other tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an intern in the Change Team of S4GIZ, your main responsibilities will include: assisting in the implementation of the project strategy, supporting the Change Management team in executing change measures, managing a change network, communicating about change initiatives, planning and organizing internal and external workshops and events (both virtual and in-person), conducting research in the fields of digital transformation and change management, updating communication materials, maintaining the intranet presence, and supporting knowledge management within the S4GIZ project along with administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications: Candidates from all fields of study are encouraged to apply, provided they are at least in their 4th semester or have already completed their studies. Basic knowledge and interest in change management, communication, digital transformation, or adult education are advantageous. Previous work experience through internships or student jobs is desirable. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to present complex issues clearly and understandably. Proficiency in German and good English skills are required, while additional language skills are a plus. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with MS Teams are beneficial. A personable demeanor with high organizational skills, reliability, and teamwork abilities is expected.
Educational Background: The position requires candidates to be currently enrolled in a study program, engaged in a training program that includes an internship as an integral part, or to have graduated no more than six months prior to the start of the internship.
Experience: The internship is suitable for students who have completed at least four semesters of their studies or have already graduated. Previous experience through internships or student jobs in relevant fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Languages: Fluent German is mandatory, along with good English proficiency. Additional language skills are considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate's profile.
