Job Overview: The HR Associate position is based in Port Sudan, Sudan, and is responsible for administering and implementing various Human ResourcesManagement services. Reporting directly to the HR Specialist and under the overall direction of the Country Manager, the HR Associate plays a crucial role in optimizing employee and talent management. This includes overseeing recruitment processes, learning and development initiatives, performance management, and contract management. The HR Associate serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients, addressing inquiries related to HR processes and providing guidance on HR initiatives. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure that HR services align with organizational goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Associate will undertake a variety of tasks, including supporting policy development and implementation, providing advisory services on HR systems and processes, managing talent acquisition and administration, facilitating team management, and promoting knowledge building and sharing. Specific responsibilities include contributing to HR policy development, assisting with HR initiatives, providing guidance on recruitment and performance management, ensuring compliance with HR policies, managing onboarding processes for new hires, and maintaining effective communication with personnel regarding their conditions of service. The HR Associate will also be responsible for monitoring HR actions, processing payroll verification, and supporting the overall management of the HR unit.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of six years of experience in HR advisory, recruitment, or HR-generalist services for those with a high school diploma, or at least two years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
