Job Overview:
The position of Técnico/a de Orientación Laboral involves providing comprehensive employment guidance to individuals enrolled in the employment school. The role requires a proactive approach to assist job seekers in identifying their skills, interests, and career goals. The successful candidate will be expected to develop tailored action plans, conduct workshops, and facilitate training sessions aimed at enhancing employability. Additionally, the position entails collaborating with local businesses to understand labor market trends and job opportunities, ensuring that the guidance provided is relevant and effective. The Técnico/a will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of participants and providing ongoing support throughout their job search journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual assessments to identify the skills and needs of job seekers.
• Develop personalized employment action plans for participants.
• Organize and facilitate workshops on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation.
• Collaborate with local employers to identify job openings and labor market trends.
• Provide ongoing support and motivation to participants throughout their job search process.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants, adjusting action plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and outcomes.
• Prepare reports on program effectiveness and participant success rates.
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance. 1
• Participate in community outreach efforts to promote the employment school and its services.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for job search assistance.
• Knowledge of labor market trends and employment resources.
• Experience in career counseling or related fields is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in career counseling or coaching are highly desirable. Continuous professional development in employment services and labor market trends is encouraged.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in career counseling, job placement, or a related field is required. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their unique employment challenges is a plus.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory. Proficiency in English or other languages is considered an asset, as it can enhance communication with a broader range of job seekers and employers.
