Job Overview:
The Digital Organiser will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's online presence and engagement strategies. This position involves developing and implementing digital campaigns that resonate with target audiences, utilizing various social media platforms and digital tools to mobilize support for the organization's initiatives. The Digital Organiser will work closely with other team members to ensure that digital strategies align with the overall goals of the organization. The role requires a creative thinker who can analyze data to improve outreach efforts and engage effectively with diverse communities. Additionally, the Digital Organiser will be responsible for creating compelling content that informs and inspires action among supporters and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute digital engagement strategies to increase awareness and support for the organization's initiatives.
  • Create and manage content for social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate digital strategies into broader organizational goals.
  • Engage with online communities and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Organize and facilitate online events and webinars to promote the organization's work.
  • Stay updated on digital trends and best practices to enhance the organization's online presence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing or communications, preferably within a non-profit or advocacy context.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and analytics software to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is required. A master's degree or additional certifications in digital marketing or social media management is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field is required. Experience working in a non-profit organization or advocacy group is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Kiswahili or other local languages is considered an asset and will be advantageous in engaging with diverse communities.

Additional Notes:
This is a full-time position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The organization is open to considering international applicants who meet the qualifications. The contract duration is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. Competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered.
