Job Overview: The position of Analista de Engagement y Capacitación is designed to provide support in implementing public affairs strategies, communication, and training initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility and positioning of practice communities, particularly within the AMAM. The role involves contributing to the creation and dissemination of materials, as well as organizing capacity-building activities directed at public, private, and civil society actors. The successful candidate will be expected to engage actively with various stakeholders, ensuring that the communication strategies align with the organization's mission and objectives. This position is crucial for fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among different sectors involved in mobility and urban development.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Analista de Engagement y Capacitación include:
Supporting communication efforts for AMAM by managing and updating social media platforms in coordination with the communication department.
Assisting in the drafting of newsletters and reports directed at authorities and key stakeholders.
Supervising and updating content on the AMAM website to ensure it reflects current activities and information.
Organizing online seminars, events, and training sessions for AMAM and practice communities, including coordinating invitations, registrations, and follow-ups with attendees.
Managing the technical logistics of virtual events in collaboration with the IT department.
Developing communication materials and reports, including presentations and informational documents.
Collecting information for reports on AMAM's progress and achievements.
A desirable interest in mobility, urban development, or sustainability issues.
At least 2 years of experience in communication, public affairs, or event coordination, preferably within civil society organizations, multilateral organizations, or the public sector.
Experience in developing workshops, events, forums, congresses, and webinars.
Technical competencies including proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and English, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience using virtual event platforms and digital tools such as Zoom Webinar and Microsoft Teams.
Familiarity with information collection tools like Mentimeter and Google Forms.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Public Relations, International Relations, Political Science, Organizational Communication, Social Communication, Event Management, or similar areas. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of communication and public affairs within the context of mobility and urban development.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in communication, public affairs, or event coordination. This experience should ideally be gained in civil society organizations, multilateral organizations, or the public sector, where the candidate has developed skills in organizing events and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Languages: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is mandatory for this position, as effective communication in both languages is crucial for interacting with various stakeholders. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required.
