Job Overview: The Treasury Analyst position is situated within the Funding Division of the Treasury Department at ADB. This role is crucial for providing analytical and coordination support on various funding transactions, including new borrowings and swap transactions, as well as budget administration and other activities related to the division. The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in preparing reports for compliance and filing requirements, ensuring that the division operates efficiently and effectively. The position requires a proactive individual who can support the Assistant Treasurer and collaborate with both international and local technical staff. Duties and Responsibilities: The Treasury Analyst will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: providing analytical support on funding transactions, assisting in the preparation of the weekly TDFD Management Report, drafting memos, and maintaining accurate funding transaction data. The analyst will help prepare presentation materials for investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made for travel and reporting. Additionally, the role involves preparing counterparty briefing notes for TDFD-related meetings, monitoring and processing borrowing-related invoices, and coordinating meetings with rating agencies. The analyst will also support budget reviews by analyzing requirements related to business travel, staff consultants, representation, overtime, and other administrative expenses. Updating the division's Roadshow Database and performing other tasks as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Treasury Analyst position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant disciplines. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as the analyst will work closely with various stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary, with a sound knowledge of common word-processing, spreadsheets, and graphics software used in multilateral organizations.
