Job Overview:
The position of Praktikant*in in the area of communication and strategy within the Digital Transformation and IT Solutions sector is designed for individuals who are brimming with ideas and can simplify complex content. The intern will actively participate in strategic and communicative processes, supporting the management in steering and organizing central processes. The role involves working on cross-departmental topics, promoting transparent and effective communication, and assisting in the successful implementation of strategic changes. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute their own ideas within a dedicated and collegial team, take on responsibilities, and actively participate in optimizing internal workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an intern in the area coordination of DIGITS, you will take on a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. Depending on your strengths and interests, you can focus on different areas and actively contribute to the development of the sector. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Communication: Assist with internal and external communication of the sector, such as creating newsletters, presentations, or internal websites.
  • Strategy and Change Management: Accompany change processes, support strategy development, and work on concepts for the further development of the sector.
  • Content Creation: Help in creating editorial texts, graphics, and presentations, and develop creative approaches for communication.
  • Organizational and Committee Work: Assist in preparing decision templates, support meeting planning, and coordinate cross-departmental coordination processes.
  • Project Work: Work on cross-departmental projects and bring innovative solutions, accompany large IT projects such as the introduction of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Process Management: Support the further development of our IT processes and project needs in process management.

Required Qualifications:
We are looking for motivated and committed interns who approach new challenges with enthusiasm and creativity. You should have a talent for communication and strategy, work in a structured manner, and think analytically. Here’s what you can bring to the table:
  • Interest in strategic topics, digital transformation, and innovative working methods.
  • You are in an advanced study program or have recently completed a master's degree, ideally in communication, media, international relations, economics, or IT.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), ideally with experience in SharePoint.
  • Organizational talent, flexibility, and a desire to shape processes.
  • Initial experience in creating communication materials or graphic design is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, think structurally, and be a true team player.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, both spoken and written.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should be in an advanced stage of their studies or have recently completed a master's degree. Preferred fields of study include communication, media, international relations, economics, or IT. The internship is only possible if you are currently enrolled in a program that requires an internship or if your degree was completed no more than six months prior to the start of the internship.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have some initial experience, particularly in creating communication materials or graphic design. While specific years of experience are not mandated, a background in relevant fields through academic or practical exposure is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in German and English is mandatory, with strong communication skills required in both languages, both written and spoken. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.
