Job Overview:
The position of International Consultant for the Private Sector Roundtable is designed to enhance UNFPA's engagement with the corporate sector in the Philippines. The consultant will work closely with UNFPA's Philippines Country Office and the Coalition for Reproductive Justice in Business (CRJB) to promote reproductive health and rights within corporate strategies. The consultant's primary objective will be to strengthen corporate engagement in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), expand multi-stakeholder partnerships, and facilitate knowledge sharing and innovation. This role requires a strategic approach to building relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners, ensuring that reproductive health becomes a fundamental aspect of business sustainability efforts. The consultant will also be responsible for organizing high-level roundtable events and field trips to showcase UNFPA's impact and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will undertake a variety of tasks, including developing a comprehensive strategy and action plan for the private sector roundtable, reviewing and assessing potential corporate and philanthropic partners, and preparing detailed agendas for pre-sessions and the main roundtable. The consultant will also moderate discussions during the roundtable, facilitate interactions among participants, and prepare a post-event report that includes key discussions, outcomes, and recommendations for future partnerships. Additionally, the consultant will support the negotiation of partnership agreements and assist in the overall facilitation of the roundtable program to ensure a smooth implementation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in public policy, development studies, social science, management, or a related field. A minimum of ten years of international experience in public policy, strategic planning, and program management is required. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in women's studies or business management, along with a deep understanding of the local context in the Philippines and familiarity with UNFPA programs. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to synthesize complex information and convey insights effectively. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to UNFPA's values and competencies, including integrity, accountability, and teamwork.

Educational Background:
An advanced degree in relevant fields such as public policy, development studies, social science, or management is required for this position. The educational background should reflect a strong foundation in areas related to women's health, social justice, and corporate social responsibility, which are critical for the consultant's role in promoting reproductive health initiatives within the corporate sector.

Experience:
The consultant should have at least ten years of international experience in public policy, strategic planning, and program management. This experience should include a focus on women's economic empowerment and private sector engagement, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex organizational environments. Familiarity with UNFPA's mission and programs in the Philippines is highly desirable, as is a proven track record of facilitating partnerships and collaborations that drive social impact.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within UNFPA and with stakeholders. Knowledge of Filipino or other local languages is considered an asset, as it may enhance engagement with local partners and communities.

Travel to the Philippines is anticipated, with costs covered by UNFPA in addition to the consultancy fee.
