Job Posting Organization:
UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, was established to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled. The organization focuses on achieving universal access to sexual and reproductive health, realizing reproductive rights, and reducing maternal mortality. UNFPA aims to improve the lives of adolescents, youth, and women, leveraging population dynamics, human rights, and gender equality. In 2018, UNFPA launched three transformative results: ending unmet need for family planning, ending preventable maternal death, and ending gender-based violence and harmful practices. Innovation is a key accelerator for UNFPA, which seeks to harness it to meet future challenges and enhance its impact, particularly for marginalized populations. The organization operates in numerous countries worldwide, with a strong commitment to improving health outcomes and gender equality.
