The Stop TB Partnership collaborates with various stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and private sectors, to ensure high-quality treatment and support for TB patients.

Job Overview:
The Liaison Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to facilitate effective communication and coordination between the Secretary of Health (SoH) in the Philippines and the Stop TB Partnership Secretariat. This position requires maintaining confidentiality and adhering to protocol procedures while ensuring that the SoH office receives consistent service delivery from UNOPS program support colleagues. The Liaison Assistant is expected to promote a quality and results-oriented approach in all tasks, which include logistical support for missions, organizing meetings, and tracking progress on various commitments. The role is integral to the smooth operation of governance-related activities and the overall mission of the Stop TB Partnership.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Liaison Assistant include providing logistical support for the Secretary of Health's missions and representation schedules, arranging travel for Stop TB Partnership events, and organizing regular and ad-hoc meetings. The incumbent will prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken, track progress on planned issues, and follow up on deadlines and commitments. Administrative support will also involve drafting communications related to governance meetings and providing all necessary administrative, logistical, protocol, and secretarial services for the Secretary of Health. Additionally, the Liaison Assistant will support the organization of special events, luncheons, and receptions for high-level invitees, as well as internal meetings, conferences, workshops, and retreats, ensuring all logistics and documentation are managed effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience in administrative or operational support. Experience in public health is desirable, as is familiarity with the UN system. The role requires fluency in both written and spoken English, ensuring effective communication in a diverse environment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to treating all individuals with respect and maintaining high standards of trustworthiness and ethical behavior. The ability to collaborate effectively and support the development of others is essential, as is the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and pursue continuous improvements in performance.

Educational Background:
Completion of secondary education is required for this position. While a first university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or equivalent disciplines is desirable, it is not mandatory. Experience:
The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience in administrative or operational support. Languages:
Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory for this position. Additional Notes:
The contract type for this position is a Local Individual Contractor Agreement (LICA), specifically at the LICA 4, ICS4 level.
