The intern will collaborate on multimedia content production, including animations and video editing, to enhance storytelling and engagement. Additionally, they will create event-specific design materials and manage design assets to ensure adherence to branding guidelines. The intern will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining a library of design assets, staying updated on design trends, and experimenting with new tools and techniques to improve their skills. Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in a graduate school program, be in the final year of a first university degree program, or have graduated with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree. Candidates should be computer literate in standard software applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, and demonstrate a keen interest in the work of the United Nations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding of design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with animation tools are required. Knowledge of video production processes and website development is beneficial. Candidates should also have a strong interest in local governance and sustainable development.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes being a student in the final year of a Bachelor's degree program or higher, or having completed such a program. Relevant fields of study include Journalism, Communication, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Social and Political Sciences, International Relations, Urban/Public Policy, or related disciplines.
