Job Overview:
The position of Gestora Financiero I (R&D) involves managing financial aspects related to research and development projects. The role requires a deep understanding of financial management principles, particularly in the context of R&D funding and budgeting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support innovative projects. This includes preparing financial reports, monitoring expenditures, and collaborating with project managers to align financial strategies with organizational goals. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage budgets for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial compliance with funding agreements and organizational policies.
• Prepare financial documentation for grant applications and funding proposals.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the context of research and development.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional certification in finance or accounting is preferred, as it demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in financial management.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management, with a focus on R&D projects or similar environments. Experience working with funding agencies and managing grants is highly desirable.

Languages:

Proficiency in English is also required, as the role involves interaction with international stakeholders.
