Job Overview:
The position of Specialist in Process Management U6 focuses on managing financial processes within GIZ. The role involves taking on the responsibilities of a process manager for specific financial processes, conducting independent analyses of relevant financial processes, and developing target specifications based on the current processes. The successful candidate will work on the IT project 'S4GIZ', which aims to implement a digital transformation project with company-wide relevance, utilizing the SAP S/4HANA software. This position requires collaboration across departments and disciplines to ensure the successful implementation of SAP-supported processes and to achieve optimal coverage of defined end-to-end business processes within GIZ.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include: assuming the role of process manager for individual financial processes; independently conducting analyses within relevant financial processes to develop target specifications; verifying requirements against standard solutions for S/4HANA for compatibility throughout the project; testing and accepting FIT and GAP requirements in the S/4HANA system; organizing and preparing workshops with departments and external service providers for in-depth analysis of the application possibilities of standard solutions; supporting departments in the redesign or adjustment of existing processes; assisting in the training and operational concepts; and handling ad-hoc tasks in daily project operations.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include: a completed commercial degree or a comparable field of study (such as public administration, business informatics, etc.); professional experience in various functions within the financial process, combined with expertise in SAP; an independent and structured working style, along with a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and commitment; strong written and verbal communication skills; a keen interest in commercial topics and processes, as well as optimization in the context of digitalization; and fluent German and English language skills.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a completed commercial degree or a comparable field of study. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of financial management and controlling within the organization.

Experience:
The position requires professional experience in various functions within the financial process. Candidates with experience in international settings or those who have collaborated with foreign locations will be preferred, as this experience is valuable for understanding the global context of GIZ's operations.

Languages:
Fluent German is mandatory, and strong English language skills are also required. Proficiency in additional languages would be considered an asset, enhancing communication within the international scope of GIZ's projects.
