Job Overview:
The Digital Organiser will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's online presence and engagement strategies. This position involves developing and implementing digital campaigns that align with the organization's mission and objectives. The Digital Organiser will be responsible for creating compelling content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email newsletters. The role requires a deep understanding of marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing tools and techniques, as well as the ability to analyze data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. The Digital Organiser will also collaborate with other teams to ensure that digital initiatives are integrated into broader organizational strategies. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote the organization's campaigns and initiatives.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, and email communications.
  • Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance using analytics tools to optimize future efforts.
  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure digital content aligns with organizational goals.
  • Manage the organization's social media accounts, including posting updates and responding to inquiries.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices to enhance the organization's online presence.
  • Organize and facilitate online events and webinars to engage supporters and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with digital influencers and partners to expand outreach.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in digital marketing or social media management are a plus.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field is required. Experience working in a non-profit or advocacy organization is highly desirable, as it provides insight into the unique challenges and opportunities within this sector.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Kiswahili is an advantage, as it will enhance communication with local communities and stakeholders.
