Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategies that align with UNDP's climate and security risk objectives.
  • Facilitate the collection, analysis, and dissemination of knowledge related to climate risks and security challenges.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify knowledge needs and ensure that relevant information is accessible to stakeholders.
  • Organize workshops, training sessions, and other events to promote knowledge sharing and capacity building among staff and partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Create and maintain a repository of knowledge products, including reports, case studies, and best practices.
  • Engage with external partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange on climate and security issues.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and practices, particularly in the context of climate change and security.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
