Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the IC-Finance Modeling Specialist include but are not limited to:
Developing comprehensive financial models to support procurement strategies and decision-making processes.
Analyzing financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for procurement activities.
Collaborating with procurement teams to ensure financial models are aligned with project objectives and organizational goals.
Conducting risk assessments and financial feasibility studies for proposed procurement initiatives.
Preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Providing training and support to procurement staff on the use of financial models and tools.
Continuously updating and refining financial models based on feedback and changing organizational needs.
Ensuring compliance with UNDP procurement policies and procedures throughout the modeling process.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the IC-Finance Modeling Specialist position include:
A strong background in finance, economics, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience in using relevant software tools.
Knowledge of procurement processes and practices, particularly within the context of international organizations.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
